Braydon Kains The album is such an amazing listen from front to back. I mostly listen on Spotify but I just had to throw some money towards these guys. Keep it up! Favorite track: Awakening.

fathead dog I love the guitar work on "Empire" and saw Nik Nocturnal on You Tube doing a guitar playthrough. Plus it was a pleasant surprise to find out Lauren Babic is the vocalist. I've seen a couple of her YT vids from time to time. Impressive talent, this band definitely crushes it! Favorite track: Empire.
William Owens

William Owens Red Handed Denial's new album is such a huge step up from their Wanderer EP, structurally, sonically, and emotionally. Yet they've still maintained a fun and catchy groove throughout.

Not to mention Lauren Babic's vocal range is just wild on this record. Vehement rage mixed with powerful, soaring cleans really make this album shine. I'm super impressed with the direction RHD have gone and look forward to future releases. Favorite track: Redemption.

Track Name: Void
(no lyrics)
Track Name: Awakening
Reckless abandon
The vultures grin as they’re ripping me limb from limb
Drain the blood
Cut me up
Slit my throat
Bells will toll

What a fine day for a funeral
Velvet rivers flow in crimson form
The undertaker pays his due
Corpse lips kissed in purple-blue

Darker than the darkness
I am the shadow
Life is all it ever meant
Death has never been the end

Drowning in chemicals
Forsaken by my kin

Here I am, here I am
My eyes awaken
Here I am, here I am
Alive but not breathing

Floating
Abandoning my body
Tell me, is this meant to be?
Surely I'm dead

What a fine day for the fake sorrows
Handshakes and frowns
The same as it ever was
What do they mean?
What would you say?

Here I am, here I am
My eyes awaken
Here I am, here I am
Alive but not breathing

No vessel, no body
The blood runs dry
My last drink of formaldehyde
No vessel, no body
I’m petrified
Can you carry on?
I’ll carry on

Darker than the darkness
I am the shadow
Life is all it ever meant
Death has never been the end
Track Name: Clockwork
I want to know the first time you felt the weight of your hate

Prepare my fucking grave that will seal my fate
The last nail in the coffin should lock me away
Can we clean up the mess we’ve made
Our current state is controlled by our mistakes

Suffering
So serene
We thrive on pain
Turn a blind eye to our obscenities
Peace is tough to stomach when the war’s inside of me

How can we quiet the madness
When it’s the only thing we know
How can we bury the malice
When it’s so easy to give in

Watch the walls as they tremble
It’s what we deserve
Watch humanity crumble and righteousness burn
Left to wander the ashes of all we destroyed
But god, did it feel so good

Cutting the deadweight of all who oppose my rage
Compromise our morality, what did we win
Blood is boiling beneath your skin
The swords that were stained
Was this worth what we have payed

How can we quiet the madness
When it’s the only thing we know
How can we bury the malice
When it’s so easy to give in

Watch the walls as they tremble
It’s what we deserve
Watch humanity crumble and righteousness burn
Left to wander the ashes of all we destroyed
But god, did it feel so good

Prepare my grave
Track Name: Empire
I’m in the empire business
Built this from nothing with my own two hands
There is no measure of pain
Nothing can stand in my way and you will pay

Mark my words
Vengeance will find you soon
What it’s worth
Your time is overdue
We’re done when I say we’re done
We’re done when I say

These weathered hands are jaded
The cracks in the palms tell stories of blood
Sleeping with one eye open tonight
I’ll haunt your dreams

Heroes don’t exist anymore
Only cowards who shudder behind a broken sword
My reign is built upon hypocrisy and all my casualties
The kingdom beckons me

White picket fences defending the Dream
With grasses so green; priceless diamond rings
There’s blood on your knees but no one can see
What’s underneath
Mark my words
Vengeance will find you and you will pay

I’m in the empire business
Built this from nothing with my own two hands
There is no measure of pain
Nothing can stand in my way and you will pay
Track Name: The Art of Bargaining
Standing tall
Chest out and do not alter intentions
Keep speaking with conviction and nevermind the distractions
One more routine transaction laced with elegance and tact
Don’t bother with the bullshit and let’s just focus on the facts

Just stay awhile
What’s the hurry
You see, my hands are tied
Just slow down
Let’s not get hasty my friend
Fancy seeing you again

So let’s make a bargain
Sign on the line
Who would I be without my word
Hold up your end and I’ll hold up mine
Why would I lie

Patience, fleeting slowly and wearing thin
Pressure, caving in
Oh why me, why me
Why me and why not them

This art of persuasion
Bending the heart and mind
Swaying the truth again
So take a deep breath in and swallow the lies

I might be guilty
Can a person change
I’ll say it like I mean it, but believe it? That’s insane!
You’re only making this harder
I’ll make you an offer, an offer
An offer you can’t refuse

The world keeps on turning only to expire
’Til we’re reduced to dust and cast into the fire
You tell yourself it’s fine and everything’s okay
Keep fooling yourself until you’re ignorant again

Patience, fleeting slowly and wearing thin
Pressure, caving in
Oh why me, why me, why me

So I’ll make you an offer
I’ll make you an offer
I’ll make you an offer
I’ll make you an offer
An offer you can’t refuse
Track Name: Abdication (ft. Andrew Ivashchenko)
You stained the ground with my blood
You were everything I’m not
I hear the sound in my head
Flesh ripping across my neck

You poisoned the well
Death just seems to follow me like a cloud
So throw me to the wolves
What are you waiting for
Put me out of my misery

And the justice is met with an iron fist
There’s no escape
There’s no escaping this

A better life was all I wanted
Insanity just goes in circles
Betrayal never goes forgotten
And the justice is met

Here I stand staring up at the face of Death
Billowing, he said:

“We have found ourselves at a crossroads.
This is beyond my control. What’s done is done.
For a murderous coward, there’s nothing I can do.”

You poisoned the well
Death just seems to follow me like a cloud
So throw me to the wolves
What are you waiting for
Put me out of my misery

A better life was all I wanted
Insanity just goes in circles
Betrayal never goes forgotten
And the justice is met with an iron fist
There’s no escape
There’s no escaping this

And the justice is met with an iron fist
There’s no escape
There’s no escape
Justice is met with an iron fist
There’s no escape
There’s no escaping this
Track Name: Sins of Yesterday
In the dead of the night
Life flashes before my eyes
I’m paralyzed as my darkest hour arrives
A cruel reminder of what I left behind
I’m plagued by the memories long forgotten

Brace for the swarm
The levee is open
Memories overflow
They’re flooding my mind
They rise from below
Can’t take anymore

Pray for the mercy of my soul
The raven is calling tonight
Guilt is the hunger in us all
Killing me from the inside

Now I am haunted with all the guilt of my mistakes
Caught in a whirlwind of all the sins of yesterday
I see their faces
No I can’t take it
This can’t go on anymore
Enough is enough

Is this what I need?
An epileptic episode that rips through my veins
Is this what it takes to feel something again
Taking the first step toward repentance
But the nightmares are hard to forget

Pray for the mercy of my soul
The raven is calling tonight
Guilt is the hunger in us all
Killing me from the inside out

With life on fast-forward, this is my defeat
The cries of apologies you’ll never see
I’m gasping for air, they’re consuming me
And it’s killing me from the inside out
Killing me from the inside out
Killing me from the inside
Track Name: Locked in a Vacancy
Visions are the skeletons to bear
Images of a faceless man
The voices are screaming again
Illusions are quickly becoming a nightmare
How did it come to this
Battered broken bodies piling underneath me
Only some things, time can mend
Only some things, time can mend

Devour the souls of the cowards
While climbing the ladder of power
Red hands deflecting the blame
All this time it was me, it was me

I’m the deceiver
So make an example of me

Force feeding lies
Entitlement’s a disease
Bend the truth to deceive them
Taking a mile when there’s no room to breathe
This affliction, we welcome

Now the cold gets colder
Now there’s nothing more to say
In familiar silence I remain
Fearing the consequences
Was there an answer all along?
I’m starting to wonder maybe I was wrong

Take on the burden
Take on the blame
There’s nowhere to hide
Everyone here has chosen to fly
Don’t leave me behind

Down here the city is empty
With heaven still miles above me
Wandering aimlessly
I remain locked in a vacancy

Now the cold gets colder
Now there’s nothing more to say
In familiar silence I remain
Fearing the consequences
Was there an answer all along?
I’m starting to wonder maybe I was wrong

Take on the burden
Take on the blame
There’s nowhere to hide
Take on the burden
Take on the blame
Don’t leave me behind

Now the cold gets colder
Now there’s nothing more to say
In familiar silence I remain
Fearing the consequences
Was there an answer all along?
I’m starting to wonder maybe I was wrong
Track Name: Worse for Wear
So this is love they say
Where do I begin
The comfort in our self-destruction satisfies the sin
And everything came crashing down
I'm sifting through the mess
You took it away

Quivering, the blood circles the drain
Wash away any evidence of me
Misery, I see it in your eyes
Forever running from the darkness deep inside

I’d give you my heart if it was even there
I’d carry your world when it’s too much to bear
These desolate eyes are at best, worse for wear
Oh my love, could you ever love again

When it began
The world was in the palm of our hands
Cast aside the innocence
So is this love
The back and forth
The push and pull of compromise I never knew
So this is love
This is love they say

I fade away

I’d give you my heart if it was even there
I’d carry your world when it’s too much to bear
These desolate eyes are at best, worse for wear
Oh my love, could you ever love again

I fade away
Forgetting my name

Like the summer rain
You were there then you were gone
We were falling out of love
As you walked away, you echoed
I followed like a song
Stole a kiss that could move mountains
You took a piece of me
Now I’m left in the wake of your melody

I’d give you my heart if it was even there
I’d carry your world when it’s too much to bear
These desolate eyes are at best, worse for wear
Oh my love, could you ever love again
I’d give you my heart if it was even there
I’d carry your world when it’s too much to bear
These desolate eyes are at best, worse for wear
Oh my love, could you love again
Track Name: Redefine
In this sadistic world
What are we fighting for
The only thing in the way is ourselves
Blinded by our own hands
The truth will reveal itself
Fate is a loaded gun
But we’ve grown complacent
In a neverending war

Killing the sadness and anger
Slay the beast from within
Forgiveness will ignite the beacon
To guide us through the storm

This is an uphill battle
Shedding the skin of despair
Pushing against the current
Take it all back
Begin again

From the ashes you’ll rise
Redefine
Seek the truth that’s inside
Redefine

Drowning the demons
Holding your breath as the devil slips away
Hope will erase the regrets
Open your eyes
Redefine

This is an uphill battle
Shedding the skin of despair
Pushing against the current
Take it all back
Begin again

So take it back
You can redeem yourself
So take it back
Take it all back
Begin again

From the ashes you’ll rise
Redefine
Seek the truth that’s inside
Redefine

Welcome progression
Embrace the change
Welcome redemption
Starting again

So take it back
Take it back, take it back
You can redeem yourself
So take it back
Take it back, take it back
Take it all back
Begin again

Redefine
Track Name: Atonement
(no lyrics)
Track Name: Solace
No home
I have wandered
Forlorn
Desolation
Overgrown

Cold is my soul
My transgressions have taken hold
Choosing what to hear as we try to cope
We avoid amends of what hurts the most

Finding my way back home
As I walk alone down a narrow road
Mending my broken soul
I'll do it alone
It’s all I’ve ever known

Hope
I can breathe again
No longer will I ignore what eats me whole

Finding my way back home
As I walk alone down a narrow road
Mending my broken soul
I'll do it alone
It’s all I’ve ever known

With all that I am I’ve come to expect no remorse
And these tribulations
I’ve come to confess my regrets
This state of unrest
The pain I create myself
I regress

Finding my way back home
As I walk alone down a narrow road
Mending my broken soul
I'll do it alone and it’s all I know
I’m finding my way back home
And I walk alone
In infamy, I atone
Could I ever let go
Track Name: Redemption
Stuck in this in-between and tethered by the guilt
I set myself free
In this forgiveness of self, I’m breaking the chains
So I may leave this world in peace

Greed is a hunger that won’t fill the void
Just a false sense of happiness to us all
With only emptiness left
In the darkness the rage was beginning to grow

But once you spill the blood
You’ll never rid of the stain
Realizing too late, is it too late to change
Break free, atone, and surrender your pride
What a sight

Following the fantasies you devise
You find yourself at the end of the road
Running from the shadows in the night
Surrounded by the exit signs
And there’s no turning back

Buried the fear and unrest
Only to manifest as regret
I could have painted the walls with red
Or jumped off the fucking ledge just to hear the sound

But once you spill the blood
You’ll never rid of the stain
Realizing too late, is it too late to change?
Break free, atone, and surrender your pride

Following the fantasies you devise
You find yourself at the end of the road
Running from the shadows in the night
Surrounded by the exit signs

Will you remember the person I thought that I could be?
Will you remember my innocence?
Will you remember? Wish I could erase everything
Will you remember my innocence and for who I could have been?

To know that your days are numbered
To know that your time is short
Death is what gives life meaning
So who will you be at the end of the road

Letting go, going home

Remember me not for the mess I’ve made
But who I could have been
Finally I’m going home
Letting go, letting go
Running from the shadows in the night
Surrounded by the exit signs
Rise above the shadows putting forth your hands
Finally I'm going home
Rise up, rise up above the shadows
Finally I'm going home

Letting go, going home
Track Name: Elysium
Sailing beyond the astral field
Wide eyes accept the light no mortal eye has seen
Rapture, hear the angels sing
Craving for something more beyond the open door

Resembling something like a dream
Is this what it means to be free
The end is near
Knees buckling as I climb a staircase adorned with beauty
It’s glistening

So show me the way and I’ll follow
Forget all the fears of tomorrow
Don’t fret, there is no time for sorrow
Oh, my time is here

At the end of the road
I close my eyes as I’m slipping away
Life will unfold
Elysium
The kingdom, it beckons me

Then suddenly a gleam of light shines before me
With divine hands leading the way
“With pain you’ve overcome the suffering!”
As wings unfurl it seems that I’ve merely scratched the surface

Sailing beyond the astral field
Wide eyes accept the light no mortal eye has seen
Rapture, hear the angels sing
Craving for something more

At the end of the road
I close my eyes as I’m slipping away
Life will unfold
Elysium
The kingdom, it beckons me

Then he speaks
His arms wide and welcoming, warm and inviting:
“Enter now my child! Remorse has set you free!”

At the end of the road
I close my eyes as I’m slipping away
Life will unfold
Elysium
At the end of the road
I close my eyes as I’m slipping away
Life will unfold
Elysium
The kingdom, it beckons me

So show me the way and I’ll follow
Forget all the fears of tomorrow
Don’t fret, there is no time for sorrow
Oh my time is here

Elysium
The kingdom, it beckons me
